I also would like to know why Moffatt was not given 3 laps to change his tire when Hockett was given 5 laps and then he still didn't have his car prepared properly.

I respect you for getting on here and explaining your decision. While some (including myself) may not agree with or truly understand why things happened the way they did, I appreciate the fact that you do not blame Lawrenceburg or the MSCS for your decision.

Im posting this having only reading to Tim Clauson's post on the first page.

NEVER EVER WOULD I TELL A RACER WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO, UNLESS IT WAS MY CAR AND MONEY Paying the bills.

As a fan, I noticed they weren't running, There was one or two other cars also at the track that didn't run for whatever reason. Come on, Place blame evenly now.

Lets see, I don't know about BC and Tim, Im sure they are trying to make it to the end of the season with California and AZ comming up. It's also not a secret the Stewart NW teams were told to run what they got, they aren't getting anymore and LEVI's #1 priortity is the USAC Championship, WHAT YA GONNA DO? I RESPECT THEIR DECISION even though I might not like it.

I've met, Tim, Brian, Bob Clauson, Levi asked me if I wanted a autograph a few years ago and I didn't even know it was him! STAND UP PEOPLE ALL!

While sitting in the grandstands, I heard over my scanner that the reason Moffatt was not givin 3 laps was because he did not go straight to the work area, he went to his trailer first.

They showed up at a race track, with a race car.............and found out they had to actually race.

No wonder they got pissed off and loaded up!

They already spent a chunk of change getting to the track-and into the track, but was then worried about the money they were going to be spending by racing?

Joss went to the pits, But his crew was'nt prepared to change a tire, Joss's Dad Bill went after a tire, and while at the trailer getting a tire he quickly put air in a right rear, then realized it was a left rear he needed, it was a tough break on a tough weekend for Team Moffatt, with 1 lap to go they had'nt even gotten the tire to the car, and we went green. I talked with Joss and he was ok with that.
He was just happy to receive a provisional from the track. Thanks for your concearns about Joss though. I would have loved to see him back out myself.
