I was going to stay out of this fray...but I am here to be positive...The ARMSTRONG RACING team has won BIG races,,,they have a knack for choosing to run BIG MONEY races...and winning. Sure Dakoda has won in the midgets...and on pavement more...Sure the sprint car program is behind the midget effort...They have been in the midgets much longer..plus he is very young.

BUT...The fact remains...The Armstrong team has won big races...Dakoda is a fine talent to DEVELOP further.
Do not hold it against him just because he has this deal. All racers are independant contractors..there is more than one way to move up if you have a plan to get there.

My advice to Dakoda..and everyone...don't let this negative attitude effect you in any way. Keep your eye on what you want. Do not let these comments about the sprint cars upset you and cause you to overdrive angry..trying to prove anything.

Just remember...AJ Foyt was helped all along his career by his dad.

Another thing I find appalling is there have been a couple positive threads congratulating drivers like Kevin Swindell...and Dakoda...by friends and family ...and along come these guys like midgetmaniac, being a total buzzkill...being negative...***?...START ANOTHER THREAD...quit raining on parades.

Hopefully Bill, Fred, D.O. or Spridge keep this IP address from ever posting again. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior, here. But, making anonymous attacks, while hiding behind a screen name is your M.O. and has been ever since you first signed on here.

Buzzkill please !!!! I have been around racing along time and always speak the truth. If you don't want to hear it , then prove me wrong. I will ask this question again If it is all your money and you are in total control , who would you put in your ARCA car.I would put Bryan Clauson or Brad Kuhn in mine They have proven on a national scale that they are ready to move up. I take nothing away from Dakoda armstrong at all -good kid -good family and thankful for their input into open wheel racing. iIN MY OPINION ,these two drivers are more deseving of a PENSKE DEAL, thats it.

In the meantime..The Armstrong Team has worked their asses off in business and racing to get to this point. I am sure they root for many others to make the trek to Stock Car Land... I know just as many other teams that are busting their tails to make it..that may not...That doesn't take anything away from them. The Armstrongs have racked up wins against teams more well funded than them.

Look at Kevin Besecker...He is a racer...that maybe ran out of funds...did he cry about it...NO....now he is a fine crewcheif...that has a good track record/niche in racing.

Okay, so I haven't been on here in awhile...kinda forgot about this thread really...but I signed on to see if I could find some info re: hot laps at Eldora (since Kev's phone connection was sucky) and low and behold...here we all are.

NE WAY...Swaybar or whatever can say/think what he/she wants...no problem here. I WILL say the tanning is so funny to me, tho...considering that I have only been to a tanning bed like 20 times (most of which were in the 90's LoL) in MY LIFE...(bit of a clostrophobe) and haven't had my lumpy ass in a swimsuit since like 2001. LoL...I'm actually in a strange way kind of flattered...

Now back to the subject at hand....Bottom line is this: No one has to agree on who deserves what or what is unfair or how things "should be". I just think that everyone should aknowledge FACTS when forming opinions....and fact is...none of you know those facts. Speculation, conjecture and rumors are not satisfactory substitutes, despite what some may think.
