I just got a call from the 3c Cummins crew.Kyle`s motor threw a rod through the side of the motor after pushing off for his heat.

Hmm..I know they are working with an Esslinger that has a new head configuration on it and have been experiencing some failures. The motor is fast - noticeably more power - but they blew two up at ORP last time.
