They made the Div II midgets the last race of the night. 1st Aaron Farney 2nd Damion Fortune 3rd Andy Bradley and 4th Darin Davis. Partin pulled out with mechanical problems.

Aaron won the Winter Natioals and will be bringing the "Bull" back to Indiana.

Pa Pa Outlaw

You done good. You and or we now have a little something to build on. You took a small number of cars and produced a very good show. The Div II Midgets did a great job down there on that big old race track, and like the man said to be down 600 horsepower we posted some times awfully close to our big brothers. On the smaller Bull Rings we get a lot closer to their times.

Put your promoter hat back on and get to work growing that club down there.

They looked good. Are they the same as 1200 minisprints? Chain/belt drive?

Yep!! The old 1200 cc motors have morphed into these 200 Horsepower 1000 cc fire breathing giant killers, They weigh about 125 lbs right off the bike and don't need a whole lot of work to go racing with.

That chain is the secret weapon!! We race hard all season long (race car motor and tires) on what the modified and stock car guys pay for their motors.

You "Snow Birds" have a safe trip home. Aaron take good care of that "BULL".

Damion Fortune any relation to Damion "Blackie" Fortune, longtime USAC midget owner. Out of southern Indiana, if I remember correctly. Drivers included Wes Stafford and Mel Kenyon. Car No. 39, yellow.
