Man, as of Wed. night this is looking iffy at best with the forecast. Got tickets already but this may a be a Thursday morning decision as to whether or not to chance the weather (a little play on words there). It's not so much the rain on race nights but how much during the day that comes down. The O'Conners are great but there comes a point where Mother Nature is gonna win in the end. I sure wish we could predict the weather for the next 80 hours with the same assurance that some people seem to have for predicting the weather 80 years from now. My little brain tells me something just doesn't add up about that.

Well here I sit in the motel hoping for the best. Probably would have wimped out but airline wanted a small fortune to change dates. That screws me for a Sunday race too, maybe I'll inquire about flying standby if that happens.
Come on sunshine... lets go racing!
Thundering out west, I live about 10 mins from track..unfortunately I can't go any of the 3 nights due to work but hope it all goes smooth and no r word
I'm in a motel on the southern side of Kokomo. Awakened some time after 7:00 local time by thunder. Rained hard until about 8:00. Let up for 10 minutes or so and is now raining fairly hard again. I checked a couple of radars and didn't see much, but it sure is raining. I'm not saying it is rained out, but doesn't look the best I have ever seen. I will try to continue to provide updates.
