Your observation of some guys getting bottled up in group qualifications is true. I didn't mind too much though as it added a nice wrinkle to the blind pill draw.

My observations tonight:
The Aussie and Kiwi group in the stands was neat to see!
The Little 4 year old singing the national Anthem
Bryan Clauson using the whole track in the midget and then some.
Rico making the decision to win the championship and not this race.
Sprints Clauson and Boespflug trading clean sliders and crossovers.
Kyle Larson handing out free coozies.

Well done Kokomo speedway cant wait for Sprint week!

I had a great time last night at Kokomo, thanks O'Conners for a great time! The Anthem was the best ever! I was riding along with the Burg Safety crew all night and have even more respect for these guys than ever! The races were great! Thanks to all the fans that supported Midget Week, and hats off to all the race teams and drivers! See you all at Sprint Week!
