I guess my next question is. Are the 1000cc cars competitive or our they just field fillers?

They are very competitive.... Joe Liguori ran one all year, won 2 hear races, and a couple of 2nds in the feature. Was leading a race before a late race caution came out. Alex Watson also did really well up there also in a 1000cc

Thanks everyone for the interest for next season.

We actually just finished our regular season 2 nights ago, and we have the track banquet on November 10th. We are all kind of catching our breathes at this time.

For next season, I will say we have talked briefly about scheduling next season. I don't anticipate any major changes (in terms of rules, number of races, etc... unless our survey data dictates a need for that). After we get the banquet squared away, we plan to meet to go over plans for the 2013 season. As soon as I have definites, I will let everyone know.

Also, we are running our annual fan and driver survey for this past season. If you were a fan who attended a Midget event or a Midget driver, please complete the appropriate survey below.

The amount of input, suggestions, and interest in Midget racing at Montpelier from the survey WILL speak volumes when figuring out the 2013 season.

A good time to hold a meeting to discuss next year would be at the Rumble in Fort Wayne, Saturday, early afternoon. There's nothing going on at that time except quarter midget and kart racing.

Fans and drivers, Please start guys by filling out the survey above if you haven't. Leave any comments, concerns, or needed changes. We will probably only have an off-season meeting if we see issues that need addressed or further input after the completion of the survey.
