Pit passes are $35 Wed-Fri and $40 Saturday. The Wed-Fri qualifiers do not pay well at all.

Hard for anyone except the top 5 cars and the promotor to make money at this event.

As for the modified lovers on here there is a modified section of the forum but it doesn't seem to be very po

Excellent post. It would seem we are one of the few professional forms of sports entertainment in which the participants underwrite much of the cost of the event. So I guess you pay to play even though you provide the entertainment!

Lebanon also has the highest point fund that I can find for a Saturday night track...$100,000. How does he do it? The Outlaws were there last weekend and the 50/50 paid over $7,600 and weekly their 50/50 pays at least $2,000. I believe that Williams Grove paid nearly $5,000 to win a weekly show last night and tonight at New Egypt the heat races pay $500.00 to win and the feature for the modifieds will pay $1,000 to start and $20,000 to win I believe. Not causing trouble just pointing out that the wingless cars are just conditioned to run for less money and they will until someone raises the bar and every other track will have to follow suit. Is the racing in Indiana better than what we have back east...most of the time yes it is. If they paid per slide job you guys would be rich!
Check out the front & back gate charges at those tracks. They are much higher than you folks are used to paying.

Some tracks I agree but as far as Lebanon Valley the back gate only charges $15.00 as well as very inexpensive food i.e. $1 soda $2 hotdogs so it can be done without overcharging fans and racers but it is harder I agree

Pretty sure this race pays $300 to start the Gmain. So if you make it to the consultation races you will make your entry fee, or most of it, back.

$10,000 to win and only 36 cars. I think that explains "why." Put up $10,000 to win for a modified race at the same track and you'll have at least 100 cars.
