I just went bye there and THEY ARE WORKING on it, you can see the building now & they are 2 highly motivated people. There is a lake that comes with the property that they are going to clear around for camping (this means there will be plenty of water for the track) they are also putting a moto x track in the woods behind the track. These 2 have big plans & they plan on running Sundays which is great for me cause it's 3 miles down the road.

I wish them all the luck in the world, I wish I lived near there, I'd donate some time. There wouldnt be any speedway around if it werent for folks helping out. Now someone please open a Sprintcar track in N.E. PA. I too suggest to start small.

Thanks for the good word ^^^
As far as the track goes we r thinking about having a couple cars to come out and test a couple days for driver input we want to be safe and happy I know we won't please everyone's style but parking shouldn't be an issue we have a lot of ground that wasn't used in the 90s

IMHO it wouldn't even be around anymore.

Fishinman quote from 2001, "We sat on the backstretch and counted heads in the grandstand, Less than 200"

I'd bet there is less than a handful of times I've seen less than 2000 since the track was changed.

And tell Jason Soudrette, Mike Fissesser, Joss Moffatt, Logan Hupp, Shawn Westerfeld it isn't a drivers track. I watch em pass ten cars every feature, Most with way more HP than they have.

They got a lot more horsepower than you think Chuck and are light too.

You do pretty well JT for a 171cid steel block.

Thank you, Chuck! Its actually a 406 ci. But its a Dart block, so it weighs 100-120 lbs. More than an average alumunim block and we make around 700 HP, which is around 100-150 less than some of the other locals. We have fun and we give it all we got though! See you on the 7th!
