I've been going to the races for over forty years and was the track photo at Eldora for several years. I don't recall to many, not saying none, but very few top sprint car drivers graduating for mods and stocks. On "premier" nights is it to much to ask for there to be no support classes? Last year during sprint week Gas City had six divisions! Obviously I'm not going this year, I'm sure it will still be packed without me and that's cool, just for the life of me I can't figure out why on the biggest night of the year this happens. Some people say that those drivers deserve to race in front of a packed grandstand too, I disagree, they deserve to race in front of what crowd they draw.

What is ruining dirt car racing: You guys getting on here and b!tching all the time. Get off the computer and go racing because you never know when it will end.

I'm at Kokomo loving it as the sprint feature is set to push off at 9:30, the 14 stock cars in attendance ran two quick heats and are scheduled to run their feature AFTER the sprints and midgets. Oh, and they completely reworked the track. This isn't rocket science it's entertainment, when you make it painful people quit going. Complaining on here doesn't hurt if the promoters listen

I think alot of people have lost touch with what dirt track racing is. If you want that "big show" stuff go to the World 100 or The DREAM,The Kings. Or any other big Edora race. This is Lawrenceburg. An area with a lot of talent that I along with alot of other people have enjoyed watching. If you come to the burg on a regular basis you know there has been some great mod races. I will always defend that class.

No problem with them on regular shows, my point is the special shows. Man, I would love to have you people as clients, I could continually deliver mediocrity and you all would keep reminding yourself you're lucky to have me. It's a two way street

You're right, you all win, I give up. I went to a race Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to watch sprints. The burg did a great job at the Outlaw show of running a timely race and getting us out at a decent hour. The days of me getting home at 2 or 3 in the morning and trying to convince myself I had fun are over. The original point was a SUPPORT division taking 45 minutes to run their race. It's too long, period.
