Just wanted to say thanks to the awesome people of this sight, especially Bill for hosting. These forums have been conversation pieces amongst my family and we truly enjoy it. We, like so many, come here first looking for results (sorry Sandy, we left after the midget feature last night) of our favorite tracks and drivers.

Just wanted to add to the imagery of last nights posts. DD pulled his usual "smooth like butter" tricks last night. IMO the cushion in 3/4 was solid but 1/2 was tricky and Dave made it look easy... again, as usual. Others followed and ran well up top but by the end I think DD had about 3 or 4 lengths. I know i'm biased but after a night of racing like that, it baffles me how someone can turn on the tv and say "now THIS is racing"... unless ESPN brings back Thursday/Saturday Night Thunder w/ dirt! LOL

Even though I was freezing due to the head on wind last night. I still had fun and the racing was awesome. Those who left after the sprint A missed out on a barn burner midget main that featured a battle royal for the final ten laps between three NATIONAL SPRINT CHAMPIONS. Every lap was another leader until the final couple when Tracy clinched it.

The sprint A was just amazing, It seriously was a four car battle for the lead most of the race. Darland would lead a lap. Bobble and be in third the next only to reclaim the lead the very next lap. Congrats to DD for the win. It was a blast to watch and the victory lane celebration to which he had to look at the car to remember the car owners name was classic. IM sure he meant no disrespect. He'd never even seen the car before yesterday. Congrats to that owner and crew chief for putting together a great ride AND THE WIN!

One last thing, Thanks to all the midget teams who came out. It was a joy to see a full field at a non sanctioned event. THANK YOU!

Daum led most of the race and then changed lines half way. Big mistake for a great running team

wow!!!!!!!!! what a great night of racing the wind was bad but the great racing by all the teams were worth the great time at the race track.

Thanks Mort. We had a great run last night. I pulled out the trusty Stealth/Sesco Mopar since the Spike engine went south at the Gold Crown. I was really impressed with Casey last night. He drove an extremely smooth race , stayed out of trouble and was a part of the top 5 cars in the barn burner finish. 5 more laps and we may have been somewhere at the top.
