3 or 4 years go, Sammy Swindell((driving for Jeff Walker) won the "Rich Zimmerman Memorial" which was a non wing race held on Friday Night after features during Nationals week. So it was a little more recent than you recall........

That seems to be a common theme at the supossed center of the Sprint Car Universe. If it don't have tin on top, and can't be driven wide open all the way around, the butts don't fill the seats????????
