More than likely they'll work with a national chain of reference labs, like LabCorp, Qwest Diagnostics, etc. If so, things like chain of custody, collection method and testing procedure will be according to their established process standards. Regardless, there's a whole cottage industry within the lab world that's devoted to drug screen outsourcing. So, once they pick a provider, all of those details will be taken care of.

I don't recall Tim Richmond having any problems performing in a race car. Did he? I could have very well missed the incident(s). He could drive a race car. You just didn't want to sleep with the guy. Now, that was dangerous!

I do agree with Chuck N, though. USAC as well as all tracks, needs to ban the cell phones while in the race cars. With all of these rich 14 year olds showing up in sprinters, you know that it's going to be a problem! great suggestion, Chuck!!:O:

So, Larry does Nascar have a drug testing system now! What year did it start. My guess is that Tim didn't want the world to know he had AIDS. May be it was to early to know, what he had at the time! He was let go because he failed a drug test, more than one. He was one of the best in what ever he was in! RIP Tim :checkered:
