Then again, the AC is out right now on my Focus, so the 135 mile drive to Quincy Raceway last night for the big modified show was just a bit on the warm side.

Do you have studded tires on it for getting around after all those 10-12" snows you get up there in Cheeseland come January and February?
No studded tires on the 10 speed. Last winter i got the riding mower out after we had snow and i was pulling the kids down the road in a plastic sled. We live in a sub division outside of town so i can get away with getting the mower out in the road in winter. You should see the neighbors look at us!

I really like the 2010's style changes, but this one will do. Bob

Bob,

My wife is crazy about those heated seats, too. She often turns hers on to give relief from back pain. We bought ours new in Aug. 2006 and have 39,000 miles on it. It is a very pleasant car to drive and I love the sound system. I'm wondering if the 50 series 17 inch Michelin Pilot tires may be reducing the gas mileage. They also seem to be wearing rather quickly. We definitely haven't hot rodded this car. Much of the driving is fairly local; we did drive it to Port Canaveral, FL this past March when we took our Bahama cruise. The weather was mild and I didn't run the air. Mileage varied from 27-29 mpg. This car is rated at 29mpg on the highway, so I guess it is doing what is supposed to. I agree with you about the 2010 styling. Ford is building some nice looking cars. Hope they, and all American car companies, sell millions of them.

2006 ford fusion: 31-33 MPG
99 F250 with the V8: 11MPG, if I'm towing my trailer with derby car more like 8MPG.

Guess what one I drive all the time.

PLEASE tell me it is not too late to trade in my Dodge pickup truck,
get the Cash For Clunkers money and buy a Pelosi GTxi SS/RT.

If our wonderful government is involved, it MUST be a GREAT car!
