Heres a good one from Leonard Lee.....I dont remember the exact wording but this was a line of his after a nasty wreck at Knoxville.

Yeah once in a while you gotta take a nasty ride and scare the h*ll out of the fans. If you don't the fans start to think they can drive one of these things

Another great line from the late Ralph Blackett

Jack Miller: what was like to take a ride like that?
(that being a large wreck involving several light poles taken down,motors flying out, a real major mess)

Ralph replied "sort of like walking into a gang fight without your gang"
