I respect the LM guys and the mod guys but the fans for they and the openwheel cars are for the most part nearly non-compatable. They don't care about the open wheel cars and the open wheel fans don't care for them. It's like a perpetual thanksgiving dinner with the cousins you can't stand and annoy you with their long winded stories.

Then again; maybe thats just me.
I say "we" because I have had this discussion with Mike, Brian, and Davey, and we have talked about car counts, fan counts, and what we need to make things better. And we DONT need support classes, just a good catch to bring fans into the stands. Something to entice the audience to come watch the Sprint Cars. As Mike said during the press conference "The Audience wants Sprint Cars, and thats what we are going to give them" We just want MORE of that audience to show up.

Dan, I do consider myself grown up, but as like most people on here, I would love for a show to go as quickly as possible. My students at the School I teach at consider me pretty grown up, as they are the only people to call me "Mr." lol

So here is top ten reason for not attending a sprint car race

#10 It's to cold

#9 It's to hot

#8 It may be over late

#7 It's to far

#6 There are to many classses

#5 It's to much to get in

#4 It rained out 10 years ago and I'm still pissed

#3 I hate the promoter

#2 The track is too rough

#1 YOUR A TOOL

Not making the list, track is to big, or small or smooth or dark. It's indoors.I can't take in beer. The seating is bad. It's too sunny.I have to park to far away from the gate. The parking lot is dust or unlevel or gravel:headbang

I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS SPORT IS NOT GROWING:doh:
ok thats fine, I will just take my money somewhere else with no explaination for the promoter to improve. So take you tool and insert it where you would like. :headbang Numerouse poeple complained about the burg last year and there Lateness, I was one of the first to comend them on there improvement during Sprint week.

Huh. I'm not sure what to make of myself and my family. We love open wheel and we love late models. We go to Bloomington every Friday, make Kokomo when we can, and love to head to Florence for the late model shows. This summer we'll follow the UMP Summer Nats tour for the first three nights and then finish the trip with a Sunday show at Kokomo. And we travel to Charlotte every fall for the World Finals. I guess we're some sort of anomaly or something

I've always wondered why there aren't more like you. Late model fans don't sprints, sprint fans don't like late models. Wing guy don't like non-winged, and vice-versa. Frankly, i don't get it either, since I like 'em all.

Some of the fans at The World Finals make us laugh. Late model fans will take a break during sprint car races and sprint car fans take a break during late model races. We stay put all night because we love watching them all
