Yes. I will post heat race transfers here on the board. Modem permitting Talk2Drivers.com will do Live @ the Track on the website. There is a Live page up from last year to show how we do it. Either way I look forward to updating folks on the racing next week!

I agree. 3 reds in 5 laps pretty much sealed the deal with weather approaching. I am not sure why they did not let everyone start.... after the 76 car flipped in hot laps put them down to 22. 20 started the feature. I am sure as a promoter its a tough call to make.

The Lawrenceburg Speedway safety crews were thorough as always. As a fan sometimes I think they are too thorough.... but the main thing is ensuring driver safety and timely removal of drivers from cars/cars from track. So who am I to question what they do, how they do it or how long it takes. At least they get it done.

Not sure with total counts but I will say that it sure appeared to be down from last year. The pits were not nearly as crowded as last year with the same number of support classes.

5 cruisers
less then 20 mods
about 25 hornets
about 20 super stocks
like 12 pure stocks

Wasn't really counting, I think the car count was a little higher due to Brownstown not running and other tracks haven't opened yet. So a guess would be 105 cars total in the pits, anyone else agree or disagree. They still pushed off the Sprint feature before 10:00 pm.

i would say that is about right i would have thought that with brownstown calling it early that there would have been 150-175 cars total there...dont know if it was chance of rain or what but no where near the cars i would have expected to be there...

Not a bad crowd or car count considering the weather and all.Hope the basement is filled in before next week. Great to see some friends I hadn't saw since last October!

Spent time chatting with a few people...... it was great to be abe to do so again. Cindi.... thanks for taking the time to chat. It's always a pleasure to talk racing and messageboards with you. I will tell the keyboard jockeys here who DO NOT know Cindi and Jim from the Truckers team... they are truly nice individuals. Jim puts his heart and soul into racing and I can stand back and see it clearly. The keyboard jockeys really should lay off these two..... get to know them first before bashing them.

It was a rough night on equipment. All those early reds made the rainout inevitable. Oh well.... at least 2 features next week will be good!

Anyone else at the track Saturday night care to weigh in with their thoughts??

Don it was great talking to you too as always. You are correct in saying that Jim puts his heart and soul into racing. I appreciate all the kind words.

Until the next time... "Have a Great Week"
Cindi
