For the record, 13% of homes in the US were tuned in to watch game 1, a pretty high rating in today's sports world. I realize this is a racing site but no reason to abuse the man. Many of us are fans of more than just one sport.

If you took what I said to seriously that's on you! Because it was more a poking fun at the guy than seriousness. Plus if you want to watch basketball stay home and watch basketball. If you are on the road and have came to Indiana to watch racing then watch racing and let the basketball thing go for the evening. Which it looks like he did and believe me your preaching to the choir on liking more than one sport I grew up in a day and age where sports was a way of life. Playing them, watching them and coaching them. I love just about every sport in the world.

I share your love of sports and in particular sprints/midgets. I would always pass up an NBA game to watch open wheel on dirt. Several were cracking on him for his NBA comment which I am sure was not too serious either.

Well, I'm on the road to spend the summer with 93 yr. Mom who still lives alone on the East Coast & try to hit some races on the way. l also love basketball, thought maybe I could catch midget A-Main & maybe 2nd half of Finals. Missed the game, saw some good racing, no big deal, end of discussion as far as I'm concerned

My wife is the basketball fan in our home, but she won't watch the pros. She loves UK, Indiana and the University of Evansville Purple Aces, but any good college game is her cup of tea. She also likes to watch baseball, but only the St. Louis Cardinals. Me, I guess have a one track mind (pun intended) when it comes to sports.
