Well, the Race of the Year for the MSCS Sprint Cars took place that night at Haubstadt so that's where I was. No one has explained the negativity to the doubleheader, though. There might be 65 total cars or so and the track should be able to handle that.

Guys are saying track was in great shape Guess they are forgetting why it was a day race CUZ IT RAINED Eldora has never used that much water on the track Plus you know they will run the outlaws first so the NW guys will have a dry slick surface Think I'll pass on the 19 hour round trip drive

Jim, what route do you take to Eldora to make it a 19 hr. round trip? It's about 5 and a half hours one way from my house in Darmstadt. I used to do round trips in a day and get home about 5 AM but not anymore.

Same thing on tap at Perris in March. Woo with USAC/CRA. Best of both worlds. As a sprint car fan how can you not get excited about a premier NW series paired with a premier winged series.

If USAC runs their features first both nights it will be a great weekend of racing. It just makes sense, period. Shouldn't be anyone out there who can't understand this. If the WOO runs first it's a major blunder, but will make for a great weekend of drinking.
