Let's see if I have this right:

There will be a USAC National Midget Dirt Series and a separate USAC National Midget Pavement Series in 2013. Right?

Midget schedule looks like i will be able to catch a few but the sprints don't look good for our travel pattern here in cheeseland. Great for Indiana people but for us the only worthy road trip looks like the Gas City Putnamville nights back to back. No big race at Eldora and no spring triple header like has been in the past. Not a complainer just airing an opinion.

I hope Eldora has a Saturday July or August USAC show even if it is a standard show. The 50th show I thought was great last year.

Surprised that the Hut 100 is not returning to Haubstadt. It appeared to be a success at the box office.

Ron,
I think we are all aware of USAC's decision making history. All we can do is wish them well.

If Haubstadt would have wanted the Hut 100 to return, it would have remained there. USAC doesn't benefit greater from having it at Granite City over Haubstadt. Another Indiana track was offered the event and turned it down as well. I'm certain the Hut Hundred will be excellent at Granite City, it has proven to be one of the most exciting midget tracks on the schedule.

The Hut belongs at Terre Haute, but definitely should be at an Indiana Track! The Hut at the Put would have even been cool! It should not be called the Hut anymore! Tri-City is a great facility, but the Hut does not belong in Illinois!

I understand tradition but the Hut was offered to Haubstadt and Kokomo and neither track wanted it.

I understand the tradition at Terre Haute but I really hate midgets in half miles....well except Eldora lol
