I think this is a good start. Are there other tracks that could be placed in to the line up? Yes, but these are the ones the POWRi works closest with all year long with multiple dates. I have raced at all tracks with the POWRi in my micro but Lincoln. All tracks put on excellent racing.

Tracks to maybe consider in the future?
- Tri-City (If Kevin & Kenny can get along again)
- Highland
- Brownstown
- Flora
- Spoon River (if prepped like this year)
- Farmer City

I think this may be the start of POWRi taking over midgets. With the new announcement today of the POWRi promoting Angell Park now I believe USAC will be squeezed out there. Now that POWRi also has their own midget week they are creeping up on having it all. All they are missing is 4crown, Hut 100, Turkey Night + the pavement stuff.

I guess I'm pretty naive, but I don't see USAC getting out of Midget racing due to POWRi now promoting at APS and conducting a 4-night Midget Week.

I agree Morty. If USAC goes out of the midget business it will be because of what USAC is doing not POWRI.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

I agree guys, USAC isn't going anywhere as far as midgets are concerned. Powri has a pretty good foothold between the statelines of Indiana and Colorado, which is a good thing. There was a need for an organization in that area, USAC didn't run there much anymore. Remember that MARA used to run in that area way back anyway. I think that more midget racing means more midgets, and a few of those might find their way to a couple of USAC shows.

For those about to rock, we salute you.

Just to clear the air!!

USAC does not have a problem with POWRi, Kenny Brown is the reason that POWRi was not at the Gold Crown!

There is a difference of opinion between Kenny and I about the way he does business, this has nothing to do with the people from USAC.

Both organizations or good for the sport, it's ashame that Kenny doesn't feel the same way & work together to help make Midget Racing better for everyone.

We are currently working on having several midget shows in 2013 @ Tri-City Speedway the dates will be released shortly.

Just hope that Kenny does not schedule on top of these dates like he did this year!

The 5th Annual Gold Crown Midget Nationals will be held on Oct. 3rd, 4th & 5th 2013.

Thank You & See You At The Races!

If I remember right wasn't there a POWRI, Badger, and USAC triple sanction at Sun Prairie this year. We will see if this continues, as I thought the cooperation between the groups was better than ever last year.
