Should i ask the adult workers or the kids? I just can't see any of the help not getting along with Larry. A few times i stayed and helped clean up the grandstand and haul bags of garbage out and on to the truck for disposal. When we were done Larry took me in the scorers tower and showed me around, after that he opened up the concession stand for a bite to eat which was on the house. Larry has always been nice to me.

Look at the racy tracks that don't get so dusty and don't turn slick/black early(Haubstadt, Bloomington, Kokomo) now think about the tracks that have all the little dimples all over the track when you get there(Eldora, Paragon, Kamp's) they're usually taking rubber and kicking up dust during hotlaps. Could you imagine Eldora covered in Bloomington red clay:eek:
Ever see that track come apart? I did at one kings royal where Earl had tried to make it tacky. Not a three foot high cushion but a 3ft wall of clay only 15ft off the bottom.

I've also seen the track go from dry slick before even hotlaps to boot sucking heavy in the span of a 25 lap feature at a anniversary race in 1999. A race that Bobby Allen won from about 15th spot as it was just getting tackier and tackier.

Sure Eldora could be tacky but just a little over watering and you wouldn't run on the track with BIGFOOT. Its a fine edge they haven't found yet and I think the clay might have something to do with it. I don't know.

I have never had a problem with Larry Boos. When you do something Larry does not agree with, he will let you know. Then it just rolls off his back and it is finished.

I know why "Superduke" does not like Larry. All I will say is that Larry sruck up for one of the people on his tam when they were disrepected by "Superduke".

Like I said, I have never had a problem with Larry. I am one of the adult employees for Eldora. You can find me sitting next to Larry in the tower suring every race.

Had many discussions about it. You know and I know what happened. So just stay in Sidney and please leave us alone.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, I thought the show and track were fine. I ran Eldora weekly for 5 years and it was always dusty sometimes more than others but it was always there. I can only remember a few times the track NOT getting slick come feature time, I remember it like it was yesterday entering turn 3 you could see the shine from the slick grove reflecting the lights and when your tires got in it you'd better be ready. I loved it and still do. As for Larry he was always one of the coolest people to talk with when we arrived at the track, nice, friendly and always seemed to be happy doing what he was doing.
