2) The rescheduleing rule should be revisted just for this reason. If it's a complete wash out so be it don't reschedule, if it rains after the A main is set or before the half way point of the feature the the feature should be rescheduled on the next best date for the track.

3) If you can't make it back to race on the make up date sorry but thats your loss, racing like gambeling sometimes you win most of the time you loose.

Did the racers loose something, yes but the fans lost more they payed to see a full show and got what sounds like five laps of racing give or take and the rest of the laps driving around in the rain. I'm not bashing Dave I'm stating the facts.
The fact is Claytons fastest laps were laps 8 though 12.Fact, after the consi are run at any other track in the country it's a complete show and no one gets paid, rain checks are not honored.

Help me understand your post please. In the first paragraph you state that "you weren't there Saturday nor have I been there since the track was redone". In the last paragraph you state that "you are not bashing Dave, I'm stating the facts". If you weren't there, how do you know the facts?

The way things are going tracks are going to be lucky to get already scheduled races in much less worry about make-up dates. The weather continues to suck but what can you do? Sure, the outcome this past Saturday evening was not ideal......but heck, at least the cars got on the track and L-Burg did a great job of trying to get the complete show in.

I knew it was too good to be true.....things were moving along great, the racing was good and it was looking to be a great night. Then it started doing what it's been doing for the past two months.....RAIN. My son and I took a look at the radar and our first thought was get the damn wing off the mini-sprint and get the car in the trailor.

But heck, it could be worse, consider the plight of the towns that have been decimated by serious storms and tornados.....makes a rained out race event not seem so important.

I saw a good show and a great effort to get it in. I don't feel cheated in anyway. Everything that was within the promotor's control was done, and done well. The rest was out of their control. It's over and time to start planning for next week........

another option would have been to take the purse and divide it equally among the 20 starters in a main and every one gets equal points, since race was not have way and cannot be reschuled per kiss rules, doing it the way they did is great if leading, crappy if you was 10th just my 2cents

What I don:t understand is guys saying the race wasn:t complete. Tracks all across the US go by the if the heats and B mains have run its a COMPLETE show don:t matter if you start are stop the A main ha;fway are less . Its a COMPLETE show.

For the facts revert to items 1, 2, and 3 if you cant figure it out form there then I'm sorry you can't be helped. Now to define a "Complete" show, every reputable race track/promoter that I have been to and yes I've been to alot of them all over the country, will call a show complete after all the b-mains are over. But in the event of rain won't take the money and run they will run double features the next week. Take this for what you will as you will.
