It's still great site for news! A mobile version or a mobile app of their website would be sweet!

Wander how many subscribers do not have the internet and could care less about being on line, especially the old timers who have subscribed for years?

I don't believe NSSN is screwing people... times are tough for some business sectors. If they actually charged what it took to keep the paper going subscribers would complain about it costing too much and simply would not subscribe.

Yes, It sucks, but we all die. It is part of life... A newpaper is no different.

Sorry Bill, I don't agree. My subscription was renewed at Christmas, and was for a year of printed NSSN. After just a few months into my subscription, I am unable to receive the service (printed and mailed to me) that was fully paid for. I do feel cheated and believe this is not the way business should be conducted. Would you drop 50 bucks to fill your gas tank and be satisfied with 12 bucks worth of fuel??

I understand what you're saying but there is no NSSN print business to conduct anymore... It died.

What do want from them? They exhausted all available funds in an attempt to keep the paper going and now there is nothing left. There isn't a good solution for anyone involved.

As long as they offer you a premium subscription to their website, I just don't see anything more they can offer you.

Hard to believe some of these statements are coming from racing people......For all that Chris and his team did to advance the sport of auto racing it`s a shame that people have come online and complained.....Auto racing owes Chris a hell of alot more than Chris owes them.

I had about 9 months left on my subscription. I noticed that NSSN has a premium internet option. So this am at 8:38 I sent NSSN an email asking about the premium subscription for the internet.

At 8:44 am I received a response from Corinne Economacki herself giving me directions on how to get the premium subscription. Along with a nice note.

Some say they don't care about the internet content.....then why are you on here? Internet NSSN is better than no NSSN at all. Dave Despain on Wind Tunnel last night gave his ulogy. No one wants to lose a long time friend like NSSN but times change.

No matter what, thanks to Chris, Corinne and all at NSSN for my 40 years of enjoyment.

I read National Speed Sport News as a kid, there were always wild pictures on the front and all the great stories. I can't begin to think how much the hours of enjoyment and information are worth. I came to love places like ASCOT, Terre Haute, Haubstadt long before ever seeing a race at those tracks. All the great writers were like family.

I wonder if there is a business case for a once a month format and say double the price? I think there may be enough loyal fans of the paper to make it work.

Good Job and Thank You doesn't come close to the enjoyment you have provided.

If there is a way we fans can help let us know.

Does it seem odd to anyone else that there has been no comment from Chris Economaki?
