This is a quote from the forum rules that is for ALL people that post here. I did not single anybody out. It is just that some people seem to get carried away quite a bit sometimes. I am not excluding myself from this.

It just seems to me that this board should be fun. We're all here because we love racing. Some seem to love griping more than racing.

There is enough negativity in life. Do we need it here too? I'm not talking about constructive criticism. Nuthin' wrong with that. I'm talking about out and out acid-tongued griping.

In defense of Dwight Clock - He always seems to me to be the voice of reason and good manners above almost anybody else that posts here. Kudos to Dwight.:thumb

That's exactly right! And I think it gets a little more fun once the season starts and we have more material to talk about.

It's great that the race is being run on May 10th but what about the USAC midget race at Haubstadt? Which drivers will go to Eldora and which ones will go to Haubstadt?

The USAC Midget portion of that Haubstadt show was cancelled a while back, Tim. It's a MSCS show w/ Modifieds, now.

Hey Dwight, In case you missed it, this is Indiana OPEN WHEEL!!! You are only allowed to talk about racing here......... Or so the message board police would have you believe!!!:Steer:Steer

P.S. This is said tongue in cheek and with a chuckle.

Okay, after reading further, I see I'm not the first one to call this out.

Hey guys, relax. Up here in WI, we still have to wait two more weeks for our first rain/cold/frozen ground out........

Thank you Jerry. I guess i was guilty of looking at a calendar of early scheduled race dates without checking if anything has changed before i posted about the midgets at Haubstadt. Sorry about that, but thanks for correcting me Jerry.
