From what I just heard, it sounds like the fair board wants to sell the land (there is some stipulations to selling the land).

I am also not at liberty to say who I talked to, but they are the people who know more than I, and we'll know before long.

If you guys are gonna post then say something, if you are just gonna post and say you know something and then dont say it then why bother posting at all.

Besides if they wanted to sell they are really too late, with the bypass already in construction the traffic going past will go way down and the property is already worth less than just a few years ago.

if there isn't any racing at terre haute then maybe lincoln park speedway will get a sprint week date.

Yeah, plus there is a small strip mall just directly south of the fair grounds shuttered up all closed with 3/4 stores just closed. The mall has one whole wing that is just boarded up.

The next area to see development in Terre Haute will be 46 and 70. I personally hate driving anywhere by the fair grounds.

It would be nice to hear official word from either last year's promoter or usac.
