Hey Sharon thanks for the photos. I missed seeing you in the pits but glad you brought the car back to DuQuoin! Catch up with ya again sometime!

And you mentioned beer, the fair has to make a killing off of the beer tent behind turn four of the track. There is always a huge crowd there.

Here is one of the Rich Tobias car from a DuQuoin race. Not the best photo but everyone will get the idea.

Not the prettiest car you'll ever see, but if it wins, it's beautiful. I think I read where it was actually a sprint car that he lengthened the wheelbase to 96 or whatever to meet SC specs.

For those about to rock, we salute you.

I was trying to remember if the year Rich Tobias won at Duquioin, was that the same year he had a really awful looking crash at Springfield coming down the front stretch?

Then must have rebuilt or built a different car for Duquion?

I think you are right. It was quite a ride he took too. It looked like one of his wheels came off and he just dug in. It didn't go so well after that.

For those about to rock, we salute you.

Don't hold me to this but I thought I remember them cutting the car down to sprint car size for the Mopar Million at Eldora? Anyone verify that or did I just dream that?
