Even though it means having to go see the inlaws, I am looking forward to going to see the "new" track at L'burg this year.

Williams Grove, PA, June 3, USAC Sprints.

If the track announcer talks this up enough during preceding Fri night shows to get a significant % of Posse fans to come watch & a few of the local drivers with nonWing experience (Kauffman, Buckwalter, Wolfe, etc) take off the wing & are competetive, this could be the start of something really good (again).

The original Copper Classic, with USAC Silver Crown, USAC midgets, super-modifieds, and a support class (NASCAR West) to give us lots of time for a nap and/or a potty break between the real races.
Oh pooh!! Sorry. They don't have that Copper Classic event any more, do they?!

Not to be biased, but all the sprint races at the Burg. And all the other sprint races I get the chance to attend this year!

And a big thumbs up for a Chuck Amati Memorial:thumb:thumb:thumb

Im kinda partial to the Burg, Expecially races like the Dick Gaines Memorial and the LBurg Nationals USAC/MSCS. I also anticipate making a return to Eldora for the USAC two dayer and want to visit some tracks I haven't visited before like KNoxville for the NW or the PA deal. Usually about half my plans never happen but I sure as heck enjoy what I do get to make. Even if Gas prices rise again, The Bike will make a few more reachable to me this year.

Best of luck and a safe season for everybody.
Chuck

The one and only Little 500 and my 50th consecutive Indy 500. All the rest are a close second.
