"Pink" may not exactly describe the paint job, but I don't think anyone was gonna give Sheldon any crap about it whatever the hue. :wink
I believe one of the Brewer's #14 cars, that Sheldon drove, had a Cadillac engine in it. I remember one of the 100 lappers at Lawrenceburg where Sheldon led most of the race in that car but, the driveline eventually failed and Ross Smith wound up winning in Oakie Drout's black #5 sprint car. The Drout sprinter was built by Herb Porter and Don Brown, and driven by Bobby Marshman in USAC before Oakie bought it for Ross. Ross won the sprint championship in that car in either 66' or
67'. can't remember which year it was.

You're right on the Cadillac, Pete and Jerry liked them big motors! I was going to ask, did Yeadon happen to have his famous? dual RR wheel on? He ran it quite a bit at Paragon, don't know if it really worked that well, but it sure made him think it did. Bob

Sorry if I got the facts wrong .... Dad thought when Aldo drove it that Rufus owned it . Aldo ran over their hood during a melee and knocked the ram tubes off the injectors at Lawrenceburg . He did remember Butch telling him about a pretty quiet ride back from Florida with Jim Walsh.
