Apologize for the confusion, the boss has decided to start practice tomorrow at 10-so you can sleep in or stop for breakfast somewhere
Pit gate is 7:30 I believe. Race is slated for 2. |

Looks like I'll be staying in Indiana Saturday, probably do the Putnamville Clash. "Doing the double" at Springfield and Macon just won't happen this year. Hope to attend Macon on Sept. 6th.

So are hot laps actually pushed back to 10am? If so that would be great but I need to hear an official announcement.

It is 11 PM and I am sitting at home in Springfield looking at substantially the same radar picture I saw 9 hours ago before I headed out to Lincoln. Red, yellow and green stuff west of the Mississippi river, headed for us. The red and yellow all but disappeared at the Mississippi, and most of the rest of it dissipated between the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. I haven't seen a drop yet. A green finger disappeared in the last 15 minutes between Jacksonville and Springfield. Can I guarantee we will see two races tomorrow? Of course not, but right now I wouldn't bet against it, either. I have watched patterns like this numerous times over the years, and then had to go out and water the plants. Hope we have good luck for tomorrow.
