Appreciate your opinion but fans, in voting with their wallet, would say that sprint cars on bullrings are more beautiful than a Champ Dirt Car.

POWRI would not touch a Silver Crown series with a 10 foot pole. What do the do well? One surface. Small to medium facilities. Small team friendly. Regional footprint. Any of this sound like what Silver Crown needs?

You are so right. The Silver Crown series has no small teasm in it. I guess people like Randy Bateman, Ricky Nix, Donnie Beechler and a few others are multi millionaires just posing as small time operations. Yep, they are the same dollar operations that RW Motorsports and TSR are. Powri is a regional footprint? Yep their National midget series is limited to Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin While USAC's National midget series goes to so many more places: Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Arizona , Kansas and California. POWRI has more events then USAC on their National Midget series. POWRI has one surface in the National midget series and USAC has wait for it......wait for it........wait for it.... one surface too. Actually, the Silver Crown series is the only national series that has more then one surface in it.

As to what POWRI does do well, hmm well looking at the fact they have only been around since 2005 and have done nothing but grow their National midget series to be bigger then USAC's I would say they are doing pretty near everything pretty damn well.

UMMMM..... You completely missed the point. My post was not a POWRi slam (even though I have been known to do that) it was a slam against POWRi being involved with Silver Crown cars. Silver Crown cars run on two surfaces which POWRi does not do. Silver Crown races run on mile tracks. POWRI stays to smaller tracks and will not run at the larger tracks. How many times have we heard that they will not go back to Belleville because the track is too hard on thier engines. Silver Crown races are truely a national series. As someone has stated many times, POWRi does not go too far away from the shadow of the St Louis Arch. Silver Crown cars need help marketing their product and need named drivers to help draw a crowd. POWRi relies on many small team with relatively unknown drivers to complete in their shows.

Lets face it. There is not enough lipstick to put on this pig (Silver Crown races) Getting rid of USAC, going to POWRi, going Outlaw, putting in 410 enginges, putting in ASCS engines, getting NASCAR drivers to race the cars, insert stupid idea here. It does not matter. The series is in the sunset of its life cycle. Once again, if the demand was there, the supply would be there. Having the same 25 people come on this message board and tell us what we are missing is not going to change the future.
