That might have been the best executed slide job I've ever seen by a modified. It caught Bumgardner off guard and really put him back on his heels. And if he didn't grab the lead away at that instant, on what have been his last shot, the 54 might have driven away, with the way he was running last night. Brian is on a mission right now.

Yes, Jerry He timed it perfect. That's how sprint car guys do it in a modified.

The only race that pays anything is the feature.

Thanks to LPS for running a much quicker program this week, as I was able to make it back to southwest Illinois by 1:30. (granted, the time zone change works in my favor, but still.) And thanks to Casey Shuman and Dave Darland for putting on a heck of a show in the feature.
