I don't really remember except I know it was in the USACFan days. It is my go to site now since my closest non -wing track is Lakeside in KC. and they run there once a year and that is 600 miles from here.
Each time I read someone whining about a track in Indiana I would like to invite them to Colorado for a beautiful round of golf or great fly fishing for trout, but you have to go home to one of those lousy dirt tracks in Indiana for your sprint cars. Bill you keep this nearly 60 year fan enthused with IOW, keep up the good work. Vern Plotts

I used to go to another site (perhaps your old one, perhaps not; I just don't remember). I couldn't find it anymore and kept asking fans at the track about it. Someone, somewhere told me about IOW. Best referral I ever got. Thanks so much.

I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of Manzanita Speedway(1951-2009) waiting for the gates to open, when my friend Patti(IndyBound)pulled in next to me.I looked over and saw her IOW decal.I spoke with her about it and she assured me it was THE site for folks like us!I didn't have a computer at the time,so I started logging on at work.(Break time only!)When I finally got a home P.C.,the first thing I did was register on IOW.Patti was right, this is THE site for folks like us!!

I read it in the Bible where it said "And on the eighth day God got on the internet and logged on to IOW and it was very good."
A very big THANKS to you Bill. |
