OK here is another update!

Pop has not had dialysis for the last two days. He is getting it today tho. After the process they will be moving the temp dialysis port form his neck to his chest due to some infection at the neck. When they didnt do the dialysis his numbers went back the wrong way! Yesterday he finally read the paper all the way thru which is a good thing. Still having problems getting his kidneys to refire. His sprits are still high and he knows he is going to get better which is very important.

Went to see pops today he is doing way better. No dialysis until they see how his kidneys are hoping they have restarted. If they have they are thinking about sending him to a rehab center for a couple wks to get his strength back. They could have him in a rehab center by Friday here in bedford. Thanks for all the good thoughts a prayers!!

Kyle,

I have been gone for a few days, so I am glad to hear that things are looking better. I hope he can be moved to Bedford for continued care. Thanks for updating everyone.

Here is the latest on pop. looks like he will be moved to a rehab center here in Bedford by monday. Once he is here it will be like 2 wks there then home better. It is confirmed that his liver is good to go just waiting on his kidneys still. He has had no dialysis since monday his levels are a little iffy right now.

Ok here is the deal. It was a blessing in a way my racing plans got cancelled reason is I got to move my pop to his rehab center here in bedford. I am not for certain how long he will be in there but @ least he is "home". All he needs to do his build up some strength and that shoudnt take long. everything else is good!!

Hey everybody,

Pop is in his rehab center and doing real well. We dont have any idea yet on how long he will be there. I think it will be around two weeks then finally home. He did have his first rehab session today roughly 90 minutes. they will ramp it up as he gets stronger. He is feeling very "happy" about everything that is going on right now.
