767 put’s a bow on it quite nicely. He’s 💯 correct. I do however think we need more classes to help everyone save money….. not!

The people with nothing more invested than the price of a general admission ticket and an internet connection always have the best ideas of how things should be.

Try to do it without them. No one’s holding a gun to your head to make you go racing. We raced till we couldn’t afford it and other obligations were more important. I don’t blame the fans for the cost of racing. Don’t play victim if it’s your choice to do something. Let me know when a fan is responsible for the cost of a 60,000 dollar engine

PROVE ME WRONG! By the way do a little research, I'm a bit more than a general admission ticket buyer. I can prove this out from the lowest levels of motorsports right to the top. Hell stop by one of my events, I'll show you hands on. Your mind will be blown.

You can say what you want, But Id venture to guess that if Sprint week and a few other special events aren't extremely well attended. There may be less tracks soon.
And Regular shows? I only see one track that can support that if things don't change.

Charles, I agree with your opinion but I do expect sprint week to be highly attended and I think you do to. Lincoln Park would be your weekly show as Spiker always gets a good amount of cars because of the location. Gas City now being closed and Kokomo running a very limited schedule doesn't leave you many options close if you live to the north and for us it's a 2 1/2 hour tow to Lawrenceburg although I love the facility. there are definitely fewer cars to go around when tracks or sanctioning bodies run against each other. Some of the really grass root guys just can't afford it anymore with the escalating cost.

Im grateful for who can run. Not all of em can make every week. Not only is it expensive. But apparently there's a parts shortage for racing motors. Two or three waiting on parts. one looks like not before end of season. Who knows?

Sportsman racing, where the participant bears all the costs can also support the venues. Sportsman motorsport is the default mode for sportscars (SCCA), boats (APBA), and almost all weekly drag racing (NHRA). Can the promoters of circle racing find a way to run mostly sportsman events to pay the chronic costs, with much less frequent spectator shows for the glitter? |

I don't know how to do that. I Googled your business number. The first hit was an emu farm. I doubt that's right.
I wasn't singling out your post, but you can PM me who you are if you want since you seem a little bent about it.
