Chris, why all of the changes for the Hut Hundred? People are going to ***** when they are lied to, they said that all shows would be stand alone. I haven't got that much against a support class, but I just won't deal with someone who lies to me.

That's taking it too far, IMO. DHK is light years ahead of DA and what he very nearly did to the place. They're not even in the same solar system. I just think that they had a rainout and made a decision that made this show unappealing to me. Especially when there is a $10,000 to win race that same night, at a track that I also like and support. For me, this had been a close decision all along. Adding a whole mod show to the program just tipped the scale back in the favor the MSCS Sprints @ The Burg. The sun is setting on this season and you just have to grab the best race available, on any given night.

Jerry, yes you are right that they are a lot better than DA. The remark was tongue in cheek. But they did lie about the stand alone events and that doesn't give me a good feeling about them. The track will be worn out by the time of the 100 lapper.
The 'burg is by far the best choice.

I bet some of these promoters around the state wish some of you would just stay home. I really question whether some you actually like racing or not. Seems to me some of you want dirt track shows that last about an hour because you don’t want them to be too late. God forbid if the track needs to be re-worked a little bit. Last time I checked a dirt surface can be good sometimes and bad sometimes. That’s the nature of the surface. Pavement racing is the same all the time so maybe some of you should check that out.
OK, so they are running a class that was not going to be run, big deal. You guys make it sound like it is the worst thing ever and that they added 3 or 4 extra classes. It’s pretty simple, show up later and you won’t have to watch all of what you don’t want to see. OK, you’re going to have to see some of it during down time, go walk around or something. I just don’t see adding one class to a card as suddenly ruining a show. It would be so much better to have the place idle with weeds growing all over it than have ONE extra class of cars ONE time. Some of you need to find a new hobby.
As for the comparison of a few years back when waiting for drivers from Milwaukee to get there, that is ridiculous. Please remember others were in charge then. A blanket statement condemning a new group (others were in charge then) because of adding a class makes no sense. And YES, I was there and remember it. The track may turn out that way, but I’m not going to go into it assuming that will be the case. It’s not a given it will be worn out. The old track was worn out before it was even wheel packed so bad comparison.
Give these guys a break. I have been to two shows this year and it is nice to see the place start to come back to what it was. I haven’t left either show thinking, that was the best run show it could have been. However, I did leave happy that I was able to go there again after not going for two years. They do have some things to learn, but give them some time to learn them. Making a choice to go to Lawrenceburg is fine, but not going ONLY because of one extra class doesn’t make sense to me.

Chris, what these morons don't seem to notice is you guys have scheduled most of the Modified show during the afternoon. The fans who don't want to watch a huge Mod show can show up at 7 and watch the ENTIRE Midget show and two Mod races. Personally, I cant wait to see the IRL guys on dirt.
Instead of slamming you, I think it's awesome you guys are looking after both the OW fans and the Mod drivers, who had their race postponed instead of just canceling it.
Chris, it's just like 4M. When you post something they like, they'll never respond but god forbid, you post something they don't like, you get a 4 page thread.

Mike, if you will read it closely the complaint is the by adding a class and starting in the afternoon the track will be junk for the Hut. If they had a history of preparing a great track that would be different. But, after the dust bowl at the Silver Crown race nobody can think that the track will be good for the start of the Hut.
Bloomington and the 'Burg are the only track that do a good job and that is who will get my vote and my dollars. I have been going to Terre Haute for close to 50 years and I love the place, but I won't pay to see a good race ruined by a worn out track.

But wasn't the Silver Crown thing because Usac not to touch the track? This time, they have track prep time set up in between the races. I assume that means watering and maybe a little bit of leveling.
