Maybe sprint racing could use a clock like the NASCAR trucks, if you don't get a red in 3 minutes, they throw one. That should create drama

Had the race been 30 laps, Schatz would have won by Half a straightaway. The break added drama, whether it was a "sprint" car race or not, it was a great race.

50 laps on a half mile track is still a sprint in my opinion. Hell of a race last night, just wish it had been a week earlier so I could have made the trip to see it.
