Got to give a tip of the cap to Mr Cummins. When Short got a little out of shape coming out of 4, Kyle could have used some muscle and probably banged his way through, might have gotten him the win or maybe take them both out. Instead he showed some respect to a fellow competitor and they both had a great night.

Points are the same as USAC national race points....Qualifying 6,5,4,3,2,1 for the top 6 qualifiers....heats are 8, 7, 5, 4 for the top 4 finishers....semi points are 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, and 1. Feature....70, 67, 64, 61, 58, 55, 52, 49, 46, 43, 41, 39, 37, 35, 33, 31, 29, 27, 25, 23 for the balance of the field.
