Darland had a lifter seize and they tried to take the rocker and push-rods off the cylinder, remove the spark wire and run the feature on seven cylinders, The car wouldn't fire so he pulled in.

Bad luck for Dave having engine trouble for the feature...as he looked pretty strong in the heat race. C.J. Leary also suffered mechanical woes and never got to race the sprint car either. On the bright side though, it was good we had a 1st class flagman last night or I would have really froze my butt off ! Thanks Brian.

Congrats to Shane Cottle and Paul Hazen on the win last night. For those that couldn't attend, Shane dedicated the win to "his friend" and former competitor Tony Elliott in the victory lane interview. A class act from one helluva race car driver to another!
