This race has a different promoter so not sure what the format will be. I think what happened was and I hope this does not happen this time is too many classes. The promoter has to pay a hourly fee to the state for the track workers. He also has to pay for emergency crews and other personnel on a hourly fee. The cost to run a race like this is not cheap and unlike a promoter at a regular weekly track they are not getting a large amount of fans. Plus they are not getting one dime from the concession stand. Then throw in the lack of sponsors this means they pretty much have to make all of their money off the back gate. Last weekends race was pretty much a break even event after talking with the promoter. It is no wonder we have so few of chances to race in the winter. I know this is not the ideal purse and fees to race during the winter but at least we are finally getting some chances to race during the winter.

Micro
The 600 were clocking low to mid 10's also. Which car was yours? I like to watch them kids it's pretty amazing how fast they catch on. Twenty five laps does sounds a bit much for Jr. Sprints? Honest Dad himself ![]() ![]()

The P1 car was ours. 25 laps was what we were told. I would have been ok with 20 or maybe even 15, but 11 was a kick in the teeth after I paid $105 to race...

There was a race just this weekend that include chain driven cars and for whatever reason they (chain driven cars) chose not to support it.....but that was ok cause the stock production Division-2 midgets put on one hell'va show all 3 nights

Is there a flyer with more information or a website with details? I'm trying to figure out what time this will start as it is a school night. Thank you in advance.

It also appears per the Facebook post that lightning sprints are still on but the midgets may not be. There seems to be some insurance issues on the midgets. More info is supposed to be coming out soon on the new format for the race.
