The guy that sat behind us at Kokomo said that he had retired from there. Also said he browsed here occasionally.

The Nashville,Bean Blossom,Gnawbone area is very beautiful..I've been there several times on my Hog for the BluesFest and ABATE Party!..The area is a State Park with natural beauty and tree-lined highways..You should camp there if you have time...

There is always room for one more in the corner! I'm disguised as a responsible adult!...

I highly recommend the Sprint Week Super Bowl. It is held at the Brownsburg Bowl, and is easy to find (Google it). Starts at 7PM and there is no charge for admission. You do need to pay to bowl. Toy donations are also accepted, however there is a request for no stuffed animals. This is a great way for the fans to mix with the drivers and teams and the event has been very well attended since its inception. It is scheduled for Tuesday night, the 15th.

to resurrect a post and not having to hunt all over the place. I would like to thank you all for the tips last year, i enjoyed gas and kokomo immensely!!! now on to this year... i can't make the first week, so i am going to concentrate on the second most specifically THAT, LPS, and Bloomington, with a possible game time decision of Paragon or Kings royal on the way home... although we very well could end up at Haubstadt. OK.. Now, all the good things to know about the tracks, where to sit, (lawn chair, blankets, bleacher seats) track food to eat, can i tent camp in the parking lot, if so where, hotel recomendations... i was planning to stay near TH or near bloomington maybe. Golf courses, things to keep a now 11 year old and possibly wife occupied(LOL) any sponsors i can support(food, lodging or entertainment wise). Ok that's it for now....

I stayed at the Motel 6 in Cloverdale last year for the Memorial Day MSCS shows and it was very convenient for THAT, LPS, and Bloomington. We actually left LPS after the races and caught 2nd feature at Paragon. THAT about 30 miles down I-70, LPS about 10(maybe) and Bloomington might've been about 45 minutes to an hour. Going out for midget week in about 2 weeks and staying at the same place. Clean hotel and like I said, conveniently located. Hope this helps!
