Nice meeting you to Larsonfan.
Announcer & Flagmen are brand new for this year. It is quite the change from the one's they had.

Yes but the announcer should be giving lineups as the cars are coming out into 4. Funny thing is I told Jason that Calicoat was doing good. LOL.

Had a good time, Really appreciated meeting many IOW posters, Dorkboy, Sprintcarfanatic, Randy Brodbeck, Larsonfan and a couple others. Seen Skinny Kenny but he was busy making sales so i left him alone. Only got about a half hour with the tailgate crew as I had waited till Burg confirmed. But talkin about racin from way back as well as current and IOW was pretty fun.

The racing was pretty good in both sprint and mods and tuff trucks, took a break during hornets and minis and left before their features. Really don't know any of them except Henning.

Like I said, Racing was great, First half of feature was Keen on the bottom and Kyle Simon up top side by side, lap after lap then Keen kinda pulled a straight lead, Swanson was on a taer from his twelfth starting spot and pulled along side Keen several times laps 15-20 but settled for second. Congrats to Keen!. Was proud to see our track champ Leary win his heat from the tail and going away. I was hoping he had something for them in the feature but couldn't get the power down. Was also glad to see Landon Simon show up. But I was WTH? every time there was a restart and he was going backwards when he never actually lost any position's. Was good to see Cruea and Gardner transfer out of their heats.

Mods, It was neat to see Westfall grab second on the last corner of last lap.

The complaints on the announcer? IDK he seemed pleasant enough, had no problems with the joking around in the stands, Its called entertainment and getting the crowd involved. He did announce lineups prior to shove off but if there was one car running anywhere, i couldn't hear him and also announcing the finishing order while the cars were still racing on the track, I literally couldn't hear him four rows down from the box. I don't know about 2/3rds of the guys runnnig there. It would just have been nice to put names with numbers on the track and the only way to do that is to announce em over and over and be able to hear it. Couple speakers on top of the press box, front and both sides? This is just constructive criticism and not a major compaint. I figured most of em out.

I said it last year that I don't get the "Judgement Calls" Especially when they aren't given evenly. Seen many cars out of line at the restarts an never got penalized yet I don't see any noticeable infraction and people get docked???????. The leader hits the gas the race is on. Unless someone blatantly takes someone out, If you get passed on a restart, you were either sleeping or done something wrong, not the guy trying. I just think its unfair both to the racers who towed there and to the fans cheering for them.

Had fun, Good time. Constructive criticism on the problems. Not meant as demeaning.

Weather was Sunny 75* got chilly when sun went down but fine. Track was good most of the night.

He's young Chuck & learning. Gerry was there last weekend (old announcer), he talked to him about the 3rd kid in for the features because he was not asking there name or really even getting them involved.
It was nice meeting you too.
The mini's turned out to be pretty good. There was a fella that took a pretty good ride over someones rightrear & took his time getting out & going to the ambulance. I don't believe he was transported.
Most of them guys are locals that just run Waynesfield, I don't think I've ever seen them run anywhere else. Dustin Ingle in the 2di, Kevin Myers in the orange 17,etc.
Since I have met you my cover is blown if I ever come down & want to surprise the section 8 guys at Lawrenceburg huh.

I'll be in G for Greatness. Don't hang out much in A *Assylum* section but I drop in to visit the inmates from time to time.
