How many sprints and midgets were on hand?
Congrats to Ballou and Anderson for their wins.
Also, a good fourth for Boespflug. Glad to see he kicked the ass of the dog that bit him.
Great run for Kyle Cummins.

The open wheelers were out in force Friday at PIR.
Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Cars
Robert Ballou made the trip to Paducah from Rocklyn, CA worthwhile as he took the checkered flag a half-straightaway ahead of second place Hud Cone of Oakland City, IN. Kyle Cummings of Princeton, IN finished third in the 25 lap feature. Ricky Williams, Daron Clayton, and Ballou were heat winners.
POWRi Midgets
It was the first PIR visit for the full-size Midgets since 1987 and Brett Anderson of Belleville, IL will be remembered as the first Midget winner at PIR in 21 years. Mt. Vernon, IL’s Ryan Criswell and Zach Daum of Pocahonta, IL followed under the checkers after 25 laps. Daum, Scott Hatton, and Brad Loyet won heats. Daniel Robinson of Wayne City, IL was the semi-feature winner.
POWRi Mini Sprints
Jacob Patton of Bethalto, IL won the caution-filled 20-lap feature, followed by Vienna, IL’s Derek King and Brad McDaniel from Carbondale, IL. Kyle Neal, Jarret Cathey, and King won heats, while Ben Wagner was the semi-feature winner.
