I was there Sat. night. Waynesfield had better wake up, you are letting one man run the show. just because he puts money in your track, he needs to go by your rules. If it said no fighting. kick himout for the rest of the season. Mini Sprints is getting a bad name with all of the crap that is going on. And if the promoter don't do something, you will be loseing lots of good drivers. They will find a track that don't put up with all the bs. You need someone to come in and teck the motors, do the weight you will lose in the long run if you don't do something. Just my 2 cent worth.

Not sure who you used to race with.....we're on our fifth year and have not seen much in the way of fighting or arguments between mini sprint drivers. Of course we came from quarter midgets which tended to be continuous biotching and complaining so maybe I don't notice it as much now.

It's really quite simple in my opinion, show people the respect on the track you expect to receive.....we have always tried to race people the way we would like to be raced. I realize people make mistakes. Things happen and you shrug them off unless you start seeing a trend. Well, people are seeing a trend and that's why someone started this thread.

If this was a "one time" thing there would be no issue. Every week I hear about someone getting taken out at waynesfield. People are starting to take notice and are staying away. Thats the whole point of this thread. Sorry to hear youre getting out. Good luck with whatever you decide to do but if its competitive or they keep score there is going to be fighting and complaining. Stop by alittle league diamond sometime and see how great everyone gets along and they aren't competing for 500 bucks like we are lol.

I'm going to give one response to some of these issues and only one response. First of all let me make one thing very clear, WRP has not received one cent from Peterbilt of Northwest Ohio and even if we did that would not factor in. There are still punishments being discussed and they will be given privately to the parties involved, it will not be a public addressed notice. We thank each of you for your support and we are doing our best to keep the integrity in this class. We hope that you will continue to support us. One last thing, we had already made a decision to start 22 in the A before the B ever started their engines due to cars dropping out. The cars only pulled onto the track so they could drive off the backstretch instead of trying to jockey around in the pits.

I was stopped on the track right behind the 55 car and there was 2 trucks in front of him almost clear up to the guard rail and didnt look like there was enough room to get around the trucks stopped on the track,so thats why i stopped.then the driver of 1r car started coming toward the 55 car and started yelling and grapped the 55's front part of his helmet.then the cops, track officals came running.as to what mr.dorrest said about what happen to me a couple a weeks ago is his opinion.there was alot of other people there that saw a whole different view of it.i guess im not the only guy thats been taken out by this bunch.ive been racing for along time and havent EVER put someone on there top like that.

Not saying there isn't arguing or complaining elsewhere but I can tell you that the respect for drivers and crew and officials at your local Sprint car tracks is much greater than a mini sprint race ... answer me why? My two sense is people take it wayyy to serious.. I'm sorry but if your in a mini Sprint and you think Ur going to make a living and you try and be a big shot and act like your a NASCAR,world of outlaw driver than Ur crazy!!! That is what the biggest problem is with classes below the bigger sprints is people forget why we have those classes ... let me remind you what in my opinion they are for !!!
1.all classes FUN and competitive
2. Stepping stone for racers to achieve goals
3. HOBBY!!!!!
If it is just a hobby than keep it that way and enjoy it!!! We all need to relax and be thankful we can race!!! If your racing mini sprints for any other reason than those u need to reavaluate!!! One more thing .. have not seen a peterbilt northwest sign at waynesfield anytime I have ever been there ??? Just wondering if I missed one of the sponsors ... if so I would like to know so I make sure I thank them for there continued support of racing !!!

Just saying starting a fight on the race track is crazy there is alot of eyes watching including little ones I think he was way out of line I have been cleaned out before not from any of them.and I have caused some to and have been mad and have apologize to the ones I crashed. It is racing but doing that is nuts and very wrong.I am saying if its not corrected now what happens the next time? If I did it I would expect hell to be brought on me because I was wrong.

I agree the price is what is causing car counts to go down....

Purse are being cut and price of cars are going up.

When you have a henchcraft going for 18-20k with built motors how can you expect to compete. Although I do believe the winner at Kokomo....Lindsey Tilton I think....I heard she had a bone stock motor straight out of a bike....Good for her!! Hope she continues to do well

I remember when I was looking into this class a year or so ago I thought that was the point of the 1000cc class was....a stock engine, but after looking into it I found out what I did about the henchcraft.

Fighting shouldnt be allowed....if you have an issue dont stop on the track and cause others to wait till your finished fixing your issues.....

Why you picking on Henchcraft!!!?? You pay for what you get and Rick Hench builds the nicest and best car out there and it proves itself time and time again every week and motor rules only state stock bore and stroke so if you want to complain.about motors than change the rules... don't bash a chasis or car that wins just because of its price... owned three of them and I'm here to tell you they are top notch and worth every penny!!!!

The MMSA uses a stock motor rule. AMSA is still open and I don't know about Waynesfield. I do know a good stock late model will give the built motors a hard way to go and last 10 times as long, and you sure don't need a Henchcraft to win. It does help to be a good pill puller.
Half of that hench craft cost would buy a very fast 1000 cc midget. What does a good open wheel modified motor cost? My thermostat stuck last week and I blew my second motor in 6 years my first motor was the week before using the same d-a-m-n-e-d thermostat it cost me $1200.00 for a replacement motor.

If you are looking for a good car check out some of the racers racing MMSA. Heck I would sell my trick FSC chassis car for way below the Hench price. We do pretty good racing them.
