Went to Eldora for the first time ever. I really enjoyed it. As for pyro, I enjoyed the flame balls that would shoot up at the end of some of the races. It provided a split second warm blast on the face! I haven't been that cold at a race since the fall classic race at THAT years ago.

A good gauge for national popularity among youth is Facebook likes.
Travis Pastrana has "3,672,248 likes", Eldora has "94,618 likes". USAC Racing has ~290 likes.
If Eldora has the money, time and personnel to try out different approaches to weekly racing, I imagine this can help out many of our own favorite nearby racetracks.
I didn't make it, and looking at the nighttime forecast I was rather glad I didn't make it down.
Glad to see a rather positive post, and at 34 years of age, I hope to see much more youth at the races!

The track was in much better shape and with a little more work that I think they already have planned it will be prefect. Thought the pyro was cool but wish they would wait till more cars crossed the finish line so it wouldn't be so distracting. If you dressed right it didn't really seem that cold. I'd rather have that than 95 humid degrees. The show was very well run. I've officially lifted my boycott of the place and suggest everyone else do too.
