I'm about 20 miles north of Dayton, OH, a great location for racing. I'm 27 miles from Eldora, app. 35 from Winchester, 40 from Waynesfield, 47 from Lima, 87 from Gas City, 110 from Kokomo, 92 from Lawrenceburg, 100 from Toledo, 35 from KilKare, 30 from Shady Bowl, hard to beat my location. Findlay was about 1 1/2 hours and New Breman was 35 min. The old Dayton Speedway was about 30 miles away. Also several motorcycle races at some of the local county fair grounds and several drag strips close. Indy is about an hour and forty minutes, Anderson and Mt. Lawn are about an hour,, Union County, is about an hour,, It's not hard to have some tough choices during racing season.:headbang

I'm in Covington,, I worked in the body shop at Boose Chevrolet there in Brookville in the early to mid 70's with Chick Hale. I was drag racing at the time and Chick took me to Eldora, needless to say, it didn't take long to sell the drag car,,lol

Shane did not transfer out of the heat. Will need to run the B Main - they will take the top 6 and they will get their times back.
