For a pavement fan like me, where can I see a non-sanctinoed, non-winged sprint car race on pavement for $10? Have I been missing something all along? |

I am, and have been, just looking for some accountability for what this ridiculous sum of money, THAT I AM SPENDING, is going for? I have yet to receive an answer, from anyone, as to why it would cost me $915 just to walk in the gate next Friday??? That's not pit passes, fuel, gas, tires, food, new parts for the car, safety items, the mandatory eye exam & physical, little expenses like the trailer, car & engine, and certainly not all the dirty laundry we'll have to wash, afterwards! You MUST register, and pay $400 to get a USAC license for Silver Crown, as no T.P's are allowed (thanks to Mr. Snyder). Then turn around and register the car for another $415 to run 5 dirt races! Plus the $100 entry fee each race. By way of comparison, I could run the entire dirt Sprint Car schedule, 26 races, and just pay the $40 entry fee each night and run on a T.P.. That's comes out $1,040 to run the entire dirt Sprint Car Schedule of 26 races vs. $1,415 to run 5 dirt Silver Crown races? So if that is ********, moaning, and whining to you, then please just right me a check for $1,500 ($85 is for my time to write this little explanation) to cover what we will need to pay USAC to run 5 races!??! Oh, and BTW, if I should finish 17th or worse in the qualifying race, we get paid the whopping sum of $0! |

![]() Mr. Dorni certainly has made a great point here. |

We better hurry, because as soon as the 'burg opens the admission price will be 50% more than TC sprints. I'm not complaining. I'm just stating a fact. So at TC - $10 dollars admission + $35 dollars in gasoline + 4 or 5 divisions I don't want to see = not my idea of how I want to spend a Saturday night. JMO. But if you like that, then knock yourself out. I like dirt, but I am partial to pavement. I was brought up on sprint and midget pavement racing and still love it after 54 racing seasons. So the question remains: where can I see non-winged sprint cars on pavement for $10? |

How many times do they run in Indiana 3 times a weekend? TRACKS, not sanctioning bodies determine rainouts. And speaking of rainouts, when Lawrenceburg's past promoter rained out sprintweek when it didn't rain til after midnight, didn't a lot of people blame Mr. Staub and USAC? How soon they forget. I still blame the promoter. Funk, who hopes someday Chuck will move out of his parent's basement and learn there is a whole world outside away from his computer.[/QUOTE] Sorry Brent, Them were Kevin Millers words of racing Indiana three times a week. NOT MINE. And why do we have to get personal. Friggin block me if you don't like me cause IMHO your a good guy but just as clueless.
