It was actually sponsored by Bryan Clauson Racing Inc. Which is the family team.

Congrats to Brad on passing all those cars Tracy Hines gave it a good shot as well with his run on Friday night. It was fun to keep track of and Tammy and Kevin did a great job on keeping it updated all weekend long.

We are very lucky that the Gundakers are willing to have this event year after year.
The 167 count for the modifieds was the total for all three nights, but, yeah, I'm sure they made money on that deal. I made it down there for the final night, and it was a heck of a show.

When Tammy G. made the call on the pit p.a. for the sprints to go to staging for their feature last night, she followed up with "Congratulations, and thanks everyone for coming." Little stuff like that can go a long way.

We attended the Gold Crown last year & again this year. Haven't been disappointed. Excellent sized track for midgets! Good track prep. Over 55 midgets entered. Nice facility. I thought his year's program was the best run USAC program I've been to in a long time! As each race finished, the next group of cars were lined up in the chute & ready to be pushed off. The change to non-wing sprints was a great idea. I think the majority of Midget fans would rather see them partnered with non-wing sprints. Levi Jones moving up from the c-main, starting 14th in the feature & winning it?? Great feel good story for Shane Hmiel. We'll be back next year. If you're a Midget fan, I highly recommend it. Thanks to the Gundakers for sticking with it after the rain out a few years ago.

It took month's of planning to get the "fly over" timed perfectly! The second fly-over above the grandstands had me a little worried though!!!! LOL

Thanks, Kevin

This race is more of an event to me. Some events do not live up to that with the racing. The racing was great, The Tri City staff is always very friendly. Hanging out with everyone was a blast. Thanks to the Gundakers for doing this event, and providing a great facility. Thanks to each and every team that particpated, and put on a great show. Thanks to everyone in the crowd and parking lot who we had a great time with. A super fun weekend. Thanks again.
