In an interview one time he said that doing public address at the Speedway is almost like theatre. The performers are acting it all out in front of the crowd, the announcer only need to fill in the gaps and relate the details.


Words of Advice I wish many Announcers would take into account, Many think they are the show or Professional DJ's. Oh Vey!

Tom has one of those voices you never forget! He is one of those that was professional and didn't undersell or oversell it. Terry Baltus, former Eldora announcer, would also fall into this elite category. RIP Tom
