The last that I read that it was his deal, if he got it off the ground they would consider a sanction of the series. In 2010 it was going to be a handful of exhibition races and a full season in 2011. Still waiting for the first race.

Part of me hopes this series could get off the ground. If I recall the car was to be able to run road courses. Maybe it could create a bridge between usac and indycar. I'm sure handling would be completely different but maybe teach some right hand turns

I just feel sorry for all the Silver Crown car owners that were conned by USAC into wasting their money on these things in the first place.

So teams who wanted to race this car would have to go out and spend another what 100,000 dollars or so in order to race it?
